October 2025: Preliminary building application granted
All destinies are in God's hand. "The king's heart is a stream of water in the hand of the Lord; he turns it wherever he will" (Prov 21:1). Our Lord enabled us to have two crucial meetings with various administrative staff. With the history of this construction project, the three existing building permits from the previous investor and seller, the many discussions with politicians, and our sincere intentions for the neighborhood and region, we were able to refute the reasons for rejecting the building permit. It was the good hand of God that guided everything.
On October 23, 2025, we received approval for the preliminary building application. The path is clear. We are allowed to continue planning and at the same time place it in God's hands – because his timetable is as perfect as his being. Our architect and the specialist planners are already working on the concrete designs.
With every hurdle that fell, it became increasingly clear: God leads – sometimes in roundabout ways, but always to the goal.
A building from God for the church
We want to equip future preachers with sustainable tools so that they can stand the test in their process of proving themselves within the church and pass on God's Word clearly and understandably. Our goal is to train new leaders, establish more church-based Bible schools, and strengthen more disciples in faith.
We support the everyday life of the congregations with practical publications. Many employees are dedicated on a part-time basis with devotion, sacrifice, and love for the Lord. This faithfulness has been evident for almost 25 years now - and having our own building will help to fulfill this mission sustainably and reliably.
We marvel at our God. Man cannot straighten crooked paths (Ecclesiastes 1:15). But God is the one who makes the crooked paths straight (Luke 3:5; cf. Isaiah 40:3-5) and leads us on the right path for his name's sake.
If this path has encouraged you and you would like to be a part of it, we appreciate any form of support - in prayer, through active help and, where possible, financially. Together we are not only building a house, but also creating space for God's Word and service to his church.
And with this confidence, we are moving forward in the planning of the building.
