Working together, tearing down, serving
Join us and support us with the demolition work from April to September 2026! Community or youth groups are also welcome to help! Every helping hand is greatly appreciated.
A work assignment can last from half a day to 10 days at a time—whatever suits you and your team. We will provide accommodation, great food, and a good atmosphere. We are happy to cover any costs incurred. Your stay in Berlin can also be combined with a day in Berlin city center or Lutherstadt Wittenberg, especially on public holidays.
By fall, we will have prepared the site for the new building and are looking for support for the following tasks:
At any time – Rough work such as:
- Chisel off concrete supports
- Drilling many holes in concrete slabs
- Fill construction containers with mini excavators and wheel loaders
From June onwards – Coordinated, cautious work such as:
- Dismantle the hall roof (unscrew corrugated sheets, carefully lower them)
- Unscrew the side panels
- Dismantle roof truss
At any time – Supportive tasks such as:
- Sorting light construction waste (iron bars, wood, stones, etc.)
- Remove lamps and cables (srew off and collect, everything de-energized)
